Linda Hartford -Davis

                   

     Linda supervises the early intervention (EI) program for families with infants and toddlers, birth to two, for Delaware County. She has seen many changes in early intervention in the 10 years she's served Delaware County. The most challenging change has been the growth in our county. Ten years ago, two early intervention specialist provided services to an average of 30 children. Today, we average 200 children and employ nine early intervention specialist.

     Linda feels blessed by the incredibly competent, dependable, caring staff. She is equally grateful that Delaware County offers families much flexibility and choice in designing, planning, and implementing individualized programming and supports.

     Linda has always had a special interest in young children. As a young teen she organized play groups and puppet shows. She has enjoyed many positions that support her passion, including special needs teacher and behavior support specialist, director of education, counselor, and group coordinator. She holds a Bachelor's  Degree from Capital University, and EI supervisor certification from Ohio Department of Mental Retardation/ Developmental Disabilities. When not at work, Linda enjoys reading, yoga, Jazzercise, and card making with pressed flowers. She loves spending time with her husband, two grown children, and two granddaughters.
